Adult Education meets on Sundays at 9:40 am in the youth center. We will study “Doctrines of Grace.” In this series, Steven Lawson demonstrates that the Gospel of John offers one of the clearest presentations of the doctrines of grace in all of Scripture, revealing that salvation is all of God from beginning to end.  Please join us!

The food pantry is looking for one or two people to pick up food from Operation Blessing on the 4th Wednesday morning of each month starting in January. It would be about a two-hour commitment. Contact Dori Summers if interested or if you would like more information.

The Choir’s Christmas Cantata, “Hallelujah Jesus is Born!” will be presented
during the 6:00 pm service next Sunday. Please invite someone to come with you to this wonder-filled reflection on who God is and what He has done through the birth of His Son. O come let us adore Him, Christ, the Lord!

A congregational meeting will be held this Tuesday, December 10, at 7:00 pm in the sanctuary. The 2020 proposed budget will be presented at the meeting. The budget was placed in church mailboxes last week.

The Christmas basket ministry will be providing a week’s worth of groceries on Saturday, December 21, to many families in need or in crisis. We need volunteers to sort and/or deliver food for 160 families. Sign up today at the information center or online at orlandchurch.com if you plan to serve.

Those interested in serving in the Meridian, Mississippi, home build, please pick up an application packet and medical info sheet this morning at the table in the gym. Completed packets can be placed in Dori Summers’s mailbox or turned into the office. The dates for the Meridian, Mississippi, home build are February 9 through March 13. More information can be found on the Adult Serve bulletin board near the gym.

Coffee Break meets on Wednesdays, 9:30–11:00 am. Coffee Break is a wonderful opportunity to make friends in a small group setting through studying the Bible, connecting with Christian women, and growing in faith together. Take a break from the busyness of life and join us on Wednesdays as we walk through the book of Esther, a story filled with risky twists and turns, happy and fearful moments, dangerous and deadly outcomes. What’s more, it shows us God’s deliverance and care for his people. We look forward to seeing you! A nursery for infants/toddlers and Story Hour for 3-6-year-olds is available.

We are so excited to unveil our new church management software. This platform will allow church members to stay connected in a new and simple way!

  • With Breeze, you can see and update your personal and family information. Did you move? Add a new phone number? Provide the most current information with the click of a button. You can also access an online church directory!
  • Breeze allows you to give online simply and easily. You can also access your giving history (whether you’ve given online or through budget envelopes) any time you wish.
  • Breeze provides an online church calendar, so you can see what’s happening at our church throughout the week.

Click here to sign up for Breeze. Just click the "Create Account" under the green sign in button, then enter your name and email (be sure that this is the email that the church already has associated with you in the database). Breeze will then send you a sign up email. Follow the prompts in that email to set up a username and password, and you are all set! If you do not have an email assigned to you in our system or it is incorrect, please let someone in the church office know and we can correct it for you.

You can also download the Breeze app for your mobile device! Just search Breeze in your app store to download the app. If you have any questions or would like help signing up for Breeze or downloading the app to your mobile device, come to the help desk in the flex room after either morning services for assistance.

Food Pantry Donations: If you would like to contribute to the food pantry by donating food, you may drop off the food in the rolling cart located behind the information center in the inner lobby. Thank you for supporting this vital ministry!

The food pantry ministry is excited that we've received a deep freezer! If you have meat that you can donate to our ministry or know of a supplier, please contact the office. We are also accepting donations of fresh produce from gardens.

If you have any sturdy boxes – sweater size and larger – that you would be willing to donate to the prayer shawl ministry, please drop them off in the church office or give to Sandy Huizenga. Thank you!
