Corey Buchanan – Chicagoland Prison Outreach

Read the latest from Corey Buchanan and Chicagoland Prison Outreach:

As we mark three decades of serving individuals, families and communities for the glory of God, we reflect on the transformative journey that Chicagoland Prison Outreach has undertaken.

At the heart of this remarkable history stands our humble founder and lead Chaplain in Westville, Indiana, Dan Swets, whose initial aspiration was simply to be a vessel for God’s teachings,

disciple-making and compassionate care for families affected by incarceration.

Dan Swets has exemplified unwavering commitment to this missional call for over 30 years, laying the foundation for CPO’s impactful ministry. We are immensely grateful for his steadfast dedication.

I thought it would be joyful to look back over the years at a timeline of CPO’s ministry impact!

Each milestone represents a chapter in our ongoing commitment to serving those affected by incarceration. We are immensely grateful for you, our prayer and financial partners, board members, faithful volunteers, staff and churches,

who have and continue to make an impact with us. Together, we look forward to the next chapter of transforming lives and communities for the glory of God.

Blessings,

Corey Buchanan, Executive Director
